How to use the Find partners page

Intro

This page is part of a pilot project mapping the literary markets of Slovenia, Croatia, and Finland. It lists publishers, literary festivals, book fairs, literary residencies, awards, literary agencies, funders, and other key institutions in the book ecosystem.

Quick start

1. Select Country and Category (Publishers, Funders, Festivals, Book Fairs, Residencies, Awards, Agencies, Institutions).
2. Add refining filters as needed (Audience, Month, focus/genre, city, deadline, duration, funding…).
3. Open a profile for details (overview, eligibility, contacts, official links).
4. Always verify on the official website before applying or reaching out.
5. Missing or incorrect info? Contact us.

Before you search

Tip: The filters already surface all relevant results. Search is optional—use it only for exact names or terms (e.g., a specific publisher or festival).

Narrow results with these filters

• Category — choose the type of entry (Publishers, Funders, Festivals, Book Fairs, Residencies, Awards, Agencies, Institutions).
• Audience — Children/YA, Adults, or All.
• Country — Slovenia, Croatia, Finland.
• Month — for events & opportunities:
  • festivals / book fairs → month of the event,
  • residencies / calls → month of the application deadline.

Microcopy (placeholders/tooltips):

• Category: “Choose the type of entry.”
• Audience: “Who is the primary audience?”
• Country: “Filter by country.”
• Month: “Pick event month or deadline month.”
• Search field placeholder: “Optional: organization name or keyword.”
